Katherine was abducted by Will ‘s father when she was 12. He chained her, beat her and raped her until his son, 15-year-old Will saved her. Through the next eight years, neither one can forget the other. Now, they meet again, but he’s changed his identity…he’s now Ethan. But, there’s one big problem…he doesn’t tell her who he really is when they meet face to face again. I really enjoyed the story, but I was distracted by the alternate points of view and going back and forth from the past to the future. I personally would rather have seen alternating points of view in a linear timeline. That aside it’s intriguing and very well written. Note: there is a big cliffhanger at the end…I will definitely be picking up part two!
